Welcome to Green Mountain Zen
Green Mountain Zen is a Zen Buddhist practice community based in Wellington, New Zealand. We offer a regular programme of classes in sitting meditation, half- and full-day Zen retreats, sesshin (extended retreats), and workshops in related disciplines.
The community is under the guidance of Philip Shinko Squire, Sensei, and affiliated to Yokoji Zen Mountain Center in Southern California. Those interested in Zen practice and Buddhist teachings will be warmly welcomed at our regular meetings. Please feel free to call Shinko Sensei for details.
